Your first project

Open File → New or press Ctrl+N. Choose Animation, Pixel art, Free painting, Vector or Storyboard. Set width, height, FPS, initial duration and background. The Animation preset starts at 1280 × 720 pixels, 24 FPS and 10 frames.

Press B to draw with the brush. The strip above the canvas shows settings for the current tool. Hold a toolbar button or right click it to open its group.

Press Ctrl+S to save a .zyggs project. Imported images and raster brush strokes are embedded in the file.
