1Who offers the service

Zyggs offers the Zyggs drawing and animation program for computers, this site and the services linked to it: the account, the panel, the cloud space, the forum, the artists' space and support. These terms apply to all of them. Legal questions go to the Zyggs legal team.

By creating an account, activating the program or subscribing to a plan, you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

2Your account

• Use true details and an e-mail address you can read: account notices arrive there.
• The account is personal. Do not share your password or the program's activation code.
• Subscribing to a plan requires being 18 or older. People under 18 use the service with the permission and supervision of the person responsible for them.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account. If you notice access that was not yours, change your password, end the other sessions in the panel and tell support.

3The program's licence

The Zyggs program is licensed, not sold. With an active plan or during the free trial, you can install Zyggs and use it to create, including for commercial work.

• Each subscription keeps one computer active at a time. To switch computers, deactivate the old one in the panel.
• The free trial lasts 7 days, once per account and per device.
• The program checks its licence with the Zyggs server from time to time. Without internet, it keeps working until the end of the period already granted.
• Not allowed: copying or redistributing the installer outside this site, getting around the licence check, selling or lending access, or taking the program apart beyond what the law allows.

The open source libraries included in the program remain under their own licences.

4Plans, payment and cancelling

• Prices appear on the plans page before you buy, in US dollars and, if your currency is another one, also converted to it at the day's rate, as an approximate amount. At payment, Stripe shows the exact amount in your currency before you confirm, at its own rate, which already includes its conversion fee. Where Stripe does not convert, you are charged in dollars and your card's exchange rate applies. Taxes can change the final amount.
• The subscription renews by itself at the end of each month or year, on the same card, until you cancel.
• You cancel in the panel, at any time. Access continues until the end of the period already paid, and nothing is charged after that.
• Right of withdrawal: within 7 days of subscribing, you can withdraw and get the full amount back, as the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code provides. Ask through the support form, in the Payment and subscription category.
• Extra space packs are added to the plan's invoice and can be cancelled the same way.
• If a price changes, we tell you by e-mail at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from the next renewal, and you can cancel before it.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. If a charge fails, Stripe tries again for a few days; without payment, the plan ends and the account goes on without a plan.

5What you make is yours

The drawings, animations and projects you make with Zyggs belong to you. Zyggs claims no rights over them and does not use your projects to train artificial intelligence models.

The program's assistant and motion engine run on your computer: what you ask of them is not sent to Zyggs.

When you publish something on the site (on the forum or in your portfolio), you allow Zyggs to store and display it, and to make smaller copies such as thumbnails, to show it where you chose. This permission is free, non-exclusive and ends when you remove the content, except for technical backup copies, which expire within 30 days.

Publish only what you have the right to publish. If someone publishes a work of yours without permission, tell us through the support form, in the Legal matters category, with the page address and proof of authorship.

6The cloud space

• The Basic plan includes 2 GB and the Advanced plan 10 GB for projects in the cloud. Space packs add more.
• Each project keeps its current version and the 19 before it. Older versions are deleted to make room for new ones.
• When the space runs out, nothing is deleted: uploads pause until there is room, and we warn you by e-mail at 80% and at 95%.
• Without an active plan, the files stay available to download, and nothing new is uploaded.
• Keep a copy of important projects on your computer as well.

7Conduct on the forum and in the artists' space

• Treat people with respect. Attacks, harassment, discrimination and threats are not accepted.
• Do not publish illegal content, explicit sexual content, spam or misleading advertising.
• Do not publish other people's personal data, licence keys, passwords or payment details.
• Respect copyright: credit your references and do not present other people's work as your own.

Anyone can report content. The team reviews reports and can hide posts and suspend accounts that break these rules. If you disagree with a decision, reply through the support form.

8Proposals between companies and artists

The artists' space lets a company send a work proposal to an artist. The artist receives the name and the account e-mail of the sender. The deal, the price, the deadlines and the payment are agreed between them; Zyggs is not part of that contract and does not handle payments between them.

9Availability and changes

• We work to keep the site and the cloud online, but there can be interruptions for maintenance or failures at third parties such as hosting and payment providers.
• The program receives new versions and its features can change. If a paid feature is withdrawn, we tell you in advance.
• If these terms change in a relevant way, we tell you by e-mail and on the site at least 30 days before. Using the service after that means accepting the new version.

10Liability

Zyggs is liable for the damage it causes, within the limits of the law. We are not liable for losses caused by using the service against these terms, by failures of your device, your internet or third-party programs, or by content published by other people.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights that consumer law gives you.

11Ending

• You can stop using the service whenever you want: cancel the plan in the panel and, to delete the account, ask through the support form.
• Zyggs can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms seriously or repeatedly. Whenever possible, we warn you first and give you time to download your files.

12Applicable law and courts

These terms follow the laws of Brazil. When you are a consumer in Brazil, disputes can be taken to the courts where you live.

These terms exist in eleven languages. If the translations differ, the Portuguese text prevails.
